Can the Defender prompts be turned off for simple file copying -- Sam

Windows Defender prompts
I have every form of evasive Big-Brother notification disabled in Vista. Those messages get on my nerves.
"You have attemtped to switch to another application - are you SURE you wish to do this? If you do, please send proof that you have administrator access, and wait for the reply from the Microsoft servers in about four weeks. Until then, please continue using your current application."
No thanks, I'll just go with seamless task-switching and so forth.

How did you turn them off? I'm finding Vista very difficult to navigate. It doesn't help that it goes off and does its own thing for ages.
